First off, this particular news item has been inserted into the database using a form. Woohoo, took me a while to get this to work. Also I made it so only 5 news items display at once, made it so they displayed in descending order. Also made a button to show all. This is cool. Didn't get to work on the Password thingy though. But that will come at a later time.

Don't really have much time to work on my site since I work 2 jobs at the moment. I'm at one of my jobs right now. But unfortunately I don’t have flash installed here. So I guess I'll work on the password script and use it to protect the web updater. Don’t know how much I'll get done though.

Today I didn't have much time to work on my site. I did however manage to sneak in a simple asp counter at the top. During the weekend I am hoping of finishing the username login scripts, update the counter so it uses graphical numbers, and working some more on the menu. That’s All for today I guess. Oh, also I will be working on a web based news updater.

Today I made a link to this page which displays the database driven news. Also fixed some glitches with the code. I still need to tweak everything a bit but I'm learning. Also started working on the menu system. I decided to go with Flash MX. Still need to figure out exactly how or what I'm going to do.

Today I have learned a few cool new ASP tricks. Basically this news your reading is coming from a database. So yeah. I basically have a database driven news section which is really cool. Makes it easy for anyone to update the news… Especially soon as a write a web-based news updater. Ok. That’s it for now
